Jennie was born on October 29, 1912 in Marseilles, Ohio to Gazel and Oswald “Bunk” Thomas.  She has one brother, John “Val” and two sisters, Martha Long and Laura Kerns

 

In 1936 Jennie married Robert Thomas. Together they had three daughters Shirley Young, Sally Bacon and Sue Brown. She also has eight Grandchildren, sixteen Great Grandchildren, two Great-Great Grandchildren.  She says, “I enjoy each and every one of them”.

 

Jennie worked for North Electric for 28 years. In her spare time she loves to sew, read and play the piano. She also stated that she likes to make banana cream pies.
