From the Activity Department

Hello everyone!  We had a great turn-out for our annual Harvest Fest.  The families and residents had a great time.   There were a total of 108 people this year.  Thank you, to all who brought a covered dish everything was delicious.  God gave us perfect weather.  The entertainment, Spittin Image was one of the best we have ever had.  I hope next year is as good or better than this years.

I also want to thank everyone who donated candy for our annual Trick or Treat night.  At this writing we are looking forward to Beggars night and our Halloween party.  Many of our staff get in on the fun by dressing in costume.  The residents really enjoy trying to guess who they are or laughing at the crazy outfits.

We took some of our ladies to Plain City, the Der Dutchman restaurant.  Although it was a long ride, the leaves were so beautiful and they all enjoyed it.  We also had a great time at the Plaza, the buffet and live music afterward was great.

We are looking forward to the up coming holidays. We have so many people who donate their time and money to our residents that I can never thank them enough.

Till next month, God Bless!                                            Ina Schutte, Activity Director
